We have been working on The Cartesian Project for over 5 years now. The Cartesian Project is a first-person platformer set in a procedurally generated world. We’ve developed our own game engine to create this world of endless possibilities. We were pleasantly surprised by the overwhelmingly positive feedback we received when we demoed a pre-alpha build of the game at EGLX 2019. We will be sharing more content and information about the game and its development in the coming months, including screenshots, videos, and a gameplay demo. We are aiming to use this blog for delivering content updates, development progress, as well as describing the obstacles and challenges intrinsic to indie game development; challenges such as cost management, arranging public exhibitions, determining the themes of the game, as well as other issues that we’ve experienced along the way.
