[h2]The Farmhouse[/h2] Cult of Cards takes place in a sinister farmhouse which has been taken over by an evil cult. Every turn you'll be searching locations around the farmhouse using a simple drag and drop system, moving your character card onto the location you want to explore on the map. Featuring stunning art depicting the world of Cult of Cards, these cards will sometimes be revealed at random when you investigate a location. They'll then be added to your collection, filling up an art card album for you to show off to your friends! Destroy ten and you'll win the game! When you explore a location and find them, you'll be knocked down and will be unable to act again until a team mate revives you with a first aid kit. Even worse, you'll also get hit with a huge jump scare, which will be unique for each demon! [h2]The Perks[/h2] Defeating the cult won't be easy! You can choose a perk for you character to give them an edge. Charms are usually found at locations you explore and once you have collected three you can create a powered up version of one of the helpful items you will discover in your seach for altars. Starting with three charms lets you power up an item as soon as you find one - a strong ability! Every game of Cult of Cards is a race against the clock, so the opportunity to search two locations in a single turn can make a big difference. Fast will let you make an additional search of a location on your turn once during a game. A one time ability might not sound like much but when used at the right moment Fast can prove crucial to the success of your team! This means you can reveal a cultist or even the demon during an investigation and not be knocked down as a result. A good perk for anyone who likes to play fearlessly. Flashlights can be used to reveal a face down card at any location. Starting the game with one means you can take a peek at what card is at a location you are thinking of investigating. Helpful for playing cautiously and avoiding danger. [h2][b] Frequently Asked Questions [/b][/h2] [i] What kind of game is Cult of Cards? [/i] Cult of Cards is a co-op horror card game. Every turn you'll take an action using your character card; either by dragging it to a location on the map you want to investigate or taking a flashlight to use later (brilliant option for anyone scared of the dark!). [i] How many players are supported? [/i] For the brave amongst you Cult of Cards can be played solo! Co-operative play lobbies will require exactly 4 players.
