You told us that you would have liked a difficulty selector in Batora: Lost Haven, so you can choose how to face your adventure with Avril. We have decided to listen to your feedback and insert 3 different degrees of difficulty, so as to allow you to adapt your adventure to your needs.
We told you about it in our patch notes, but now let's go into more detail! To recover all the additions, you can check our patch notes.
None of the 3 difficulty modes will affect the acquisition of Trophies and Achievements.
Before the patch - Batora: Lost Haven had only one difficulty level and attacks made in one nature (for example, physical) did 100% damage to the opponent of the same nature, instead a special coefficient was used to calculate the damage of the opposite nature, which was much less, but still present.

After the patch - Now you have the possibility to select your degree of difficulty and consequently go to modify the coefficient that determines the amount of damage inflicted on the opponent of an opposite nature to yours. The mode can be changed at any time by accessing the game menu, therefore not the main menu, and changing the selector. We reiterate that no variation for Trophies and Achievements will occur, but only a greater or lesser difficulty in the fights.
The 3 modes - It will be possible to select:

Loose difficulty, in which the difference of colors is canceled and the damage can be done in the same mode and quantity both to the enemy with your same nature and to the opposite.

Standard difficulty, which will be the same as you played until before the patch released on December 20, so with 100% damage to enemies of your own nature and a damage relative to a coefficient for the opposite nature.

Strict difficulty, the highest and most difficult one: you will only damage the corresponding nature, totally canceling the damage inflicted and making the game experience much more complex.
Obviously, hybrids, in all modes, will continue to suffer damage in both natures, as will happen for boss battles, depending on the nature indicated.
In the next few days we will keep giving you more details regarding the main innovations listed in our latest patch notes, so that we can accompany you on a journey to discover Batora: Lost Haven! In the meantime, remember that Batora: Lost Haven is still available at the Steam Winter Sale, available with a 20% discount on the final price until tomorrow!
