Thank you to everyone who has joined the Brazil Fencing Club! To support all our new members, the club has been expanded from one to four permanent strips. So grab your best pair of fencing socks and join us on the strip.
Brazil Fencing Club has been updated to version 1.10! Highlights for this version:
Bout Recording: Save and watch your lessons and practice bouts. Bout recordings capture your weapon hand and head position to recreate your bout. These recordings can be saved to the three new fencing strips added to the club. The game detects lunges based on the movement of your back hand, lowering of your head, straight weapon arm, and forward motion. Competition bouts are not recordable to help reduce spoilers for new fencers/players. (Known Issue: Due to the limits of inside-out VR tracking, back-hand tracking may be unreliable (e.g., when the hand moves behind the fencer during lunges). However, this feature can still be enabled if desired.)
Mirror Recording Mode: Record yourself practicing footwork or bladework drills and play it back as a recording.
Level 3 Practice: A new practice partner is now available, with both right-handed and left-handed versions. IMO, this is our best and more realistic fencing bout yet.
Rotation Bug Fixed: Your location will no longer shift unexpectedly when using the controllers to rotate your view.
Pushing Opponents Off the Strip: Competitive opponents can no longer be beaten by just pushing them off the end of the strip. Now you will actually have to fence them! So, did you remember to wear your best pair of fencing socks? (This fix was not added to the practice bouts.)
Many other smaller bug fixes.
