Update 2.1 now available

Singled Out

A quick-fire identification game. With a sniper rifle. ~ GMTK 2019 Game Jam winner, updated and improved for Steam!

The first major update for Singled Out is here with some new features that I'm excited to reveal! Many of these changes are in direct response to player feedback. Thank you to everyone who has shared their thoughts and left positive reviews, I really appreciate it! I hope you like the new changes.
Family Friendly Mode
Activate this mode in the new Options menu for a non-violent experience, more suitable for younger players or pacifists. When Family Friendly Mode is enabled targets are caged instead of shot, and all references to death and killing in the game text are removed.
Practice Mode
You can now practice finding supercriminals without the intense pressure of a 10-second time limit! Ideal for beginners to get the hang of the game, or for players who simply enjoy a more relaxed puzzle-style experience.
Options Menu
The game now has an Options menu, like a real big boy grown-up game! You can now adjust the volume levels of the music and sound effects using the sliders, as well as switching between Full Screen and Windowed display modes. Amazing.
Improved failure feedback
If you shoot the wrong target, you will now get information about where you went wrong. This will help to alleviate any frustration or confusion caused when crowd members look quite similar.
Personal High Scores
The online leaderboards can now show your personal ranking. This will be displayed by default instead of the global top 10, but you can still switch views at any time.
Mark Targets with Right Mouse Button
You can now right-click on any member of the crowd to 'mark' them. This darkens their sprite a little and is intended to be used to remind yourself when you've checked a face and you're certain that it's not the target (but you can use this tool any way you see fit).
Other minor improvements

Innocent civilians are darkened on game over to make it easier to see the real target.
When the target is revealed on game over they will try to move away from the bottom-right corner of the screen so you can get a clear view of them.
The background is darkened slightly on game over.

Attempted bug fix for 'Paid in Full' achievement
There is an ongoing issue with the achievement for getting a final score of 50,000. I have implemented an attempted fix for it, which tries to unlock it when the game first starts up if you achieved a high enough score in the past. That's all for this update! I hope you enjoy these new changes. Please remember to share it with your friends and follow my Steam developer page.
