Hello everyone!
We have good news, bad news, and awesome news!
First the awesome news! My wife has gotten a new job that has come with a substantial pay increase. This means that we will have the resources necessary to buy additional assets, licenses, and equipment, and that will mean our games will be that much more numerous, and high quality!
As I said, awesome, right?
But, that leads us into the bad news. My wife is the main coder for our games, as well as our photo editor, and graphics person. As this is a new job, it is taking up nearly all her time. So, we had a choice, start releasing updates of lower quality, and fewer animations, or slow the actual game updates for a time. So, we are slowing our game updates, though this does mean that when we do update, these updates will be substantially larger, as I will be continuing to create the base images and animations that will que up for editing.
Bad, but not that bad.
Now the good news! As I am incapable of mastering the intricacies of photoshop, because I do not have an artist's eyes, I will be using some of our new equipment to create another game, set in the same universe of New Earth, sometime in the future. This game is set roughly in the time period of our future AVN Title, "New Earth Book 3", and will be a survival, postapocalyptic, sprite game. It will be made in a similar vein to games like Shelter, from that amazing creator, Winterlook.
I am creating this new game as a teaching exercise for myself, to improve my coding skills, and we will price this title to match :-)
