You are just a simple farmer, your wife has not returned. Venture across this open medieval world and find her.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing good! The Life Of Greather update 1.2 is here! - Better Performance. - Session based checkpoints. - Vsync now enabled. - Knight and Bandit AI improved. - Ambush events updated. More details please! - The frame rate has increased, along with improved stability in demanding areas, reducing sudden drops. Along with this, the frame rate degradation which caused problems late game has also greatly improved. - You now receive an extra life. You only get 1 extra life though and reaching a checkpoint will restore that extra life, only if you have lost it. So no stacking re-spawns, meaning if you die twice without reaching a new checkpoint. Game over. The good news though! If you do end up going back to the previous checkpoint, no loading required! - Vsync is now enabled to fix the 1000+ fps on the main menus. - The Knight/Bandit AI have increased range for their weapons and now attack (swing) sooner. Along with increased movement speed. With the knight also having increased damage. - An ambush event immediately lowers your health to make it more difficult. - There was some other minor changes, such as the heart beat sound being removed, but you must admit, it was annoying right? Performance Patch The recently released "Performance Patch" has also been updated to version 1.2. So, if you are willing to accept reduced visuals, with the main drawbacks being shadows and view distance, you can increase your frame rate! If you would like to use the performance patch - Right click the game in your library, select properties, select the "BETAS" tab and then select "Performance Boost" from the drop down box. Performance Testing Running on the "Highest" in-game settings, leaving Oxlea, heading down the road towards the knight - the following are the max frame rates on each version encountered while testing - v1.1.6 - 37 FPS v1.2 - 44 FPS v1.2 Performance - 51 FPS Your performance will vary of course, and lowering the in-game settings can improve performance. The best experience? Update 1.2 greatly improves overall frame rate, but, if you are happy with reduced visuals, i highly recommend the v1.2 performance patch. How can i view my fps? Once loaded into the game, press F11, this will bring up the FPS in the top left corner, but will also bring up hardware information. Press F11 again. This will then remove the hardware information and leave only the fps counter. Please note, the performance patch may be updated at any time.
