Update 1.2 Preview - Machines and Decoration

GeoDepths

Pilot your drill deep below the surface of a remote planet, to mine ore to refine into resources, which will be used in drill upgrades and construction of your homebase. Upgrades will allow you to drill deeper to find more types of ores. Explore caves to uncover mysteries and secrets.

Here's a preview of the new machines, tech, and decoration items added in update 1.2
Map Table
This new map table can be used to view each depth level, highlighting where all the caves are. It can show you which caves you have not visited, as well as listing all the scannables and collectables that you have found in them. No longer will you have to scour them one by one to find that last geoworm or drill tech that you missed on your first exploration, in order to 100% the game. It doesn't completely replace manual drilling and mining, but it's nice when you need just a little more resource to complete an upgrade or build. They require a lot of power to keep running, so you'll need to upgrade your power generation capabilities if you want several of these going at the same time. They are fun little gizmos to have on desks and tables, providing more depth and personalisation to your base. When mining, a percentage determines the chance that the mined resources will be doubled. This percentage is reset to 0 when a resource is critically mined, but builds up when it's not. In general this means that more resources will be gained overall when mining, but it's been implemented in a fun way. It's always satisfying hearing that special beep when a mined resource is doubled.
