[h1]Hello players!![/h1] [h2]Free Demo[/h2] If you want to try out Unfair Rampage: Knightfall right now - you can do it for free! Download and play the demo from the Steam page. The demo will be available from now until the end of October a couple of weeks following Steam Next Fest. The demo is very similar to the full release but once you repel the first boss, the demo ends. Also, Steam Leaderboards and Achievements are not available in the demo. [h2]Steam Next Fest - October Edition 2024[/h2] I am happy to announce that Unfair Rampage: Knightfall will be part of Steam Next Fest between October 14 - 21. I hope plenty of players can get their hands on the demo and I am excited to see feedback so the game can continue to improve. [h2]Expectations[/h2] I expect most new players will find the game pretty tough to play at first. The difficulty level is set by design and the intention is that you will die fast and learn fast. Restarting a game is quick and each time you play, you can progress a little further until you finally reach the first bridge. Then, bridge by bridge you learn the controls and challenges as your high score climbs. New and experienced players can enjoy the same game. This is also why you get all abilities such as double-jump and dashes at the start - so you can practice them. Double-jumping and dashing are never required to complete a level but they become welcome abilities when you want to move faster or get out of tricky situations. First, you may only survive 30 seconds, but not for long. I am not great at most platformers, but after playing Unfair Rampage: Knightfall I managed to survive long enough to surprise myself, and I caught it on video =) [previewyoutube=rW9JJf4RoE4;full][/previewyoutube] [h2]Release Date[/h2] The game is ready for release, however, it is not permitted to be released before Steam Next Fest. Also, the game needs to build momentum with wishlists. A game's time to shine is during its release and after having spent a lot of time and effort to create the game, enough people must know about it before the release.
