Ok, on to the devblog: So, the game is essentially about 95% done by my reckoning. At this point we're just polishing one last puzzle, fixing some of the graphical assets and adding some flavour text to help enrichen the world. The world and maps are essentially fully designed and fleshed out, all the characters have been made and the story is set in stone. I am composing some additional tracks for the game as this one is a lot bigger in scope than chapter one and really needs a wider variety of cues. In terms of size, I'd say it's similar to Silver Creek Falls: Chapter 2, though this one is a lot more refined and has less legwork than SCF2, so I'd definitely say there is more content. This one also will include some more references to Silver Creek Falls and begins to answer a lot of the unanswered questions left in the air from that series, If you haven't yet, I really recommend you play the Silver Creek Falls Trilogy before playing the Walsingham Files Chapter 2, as you really will get a lot more out of it. Of course, you can still play it without having have played the SCF trilogy, and the references will seem more part of a bigger world than something you may have specifically experienced. That's one of the cool things I'm finding out writing this game, for a lot of my previous games I sort of had to make up lore to enrichen the characters and give them more backstory and personality, but now I'm finding that since I am beginning to answer those questions from SCF a lot of those things HAVE become the lore, so in many ways one can be fine without playing SCF first, but having experienced those moments of "Remember when we did this" is a lot more exciting, in my opinion. Anyway, I'll leave you with that link to check out. Please do add yourselves tot he wishlist as it seriously helps us to have a big wishlist for launch day! Keep Being Awesome!
