Hey Champs! With the release of the Iron Fist DLC for Punch Club 2: Fast Forward, we’ve also released a massive patch for everyone to enjoy! This free update contains bug fixes, new custom leagues and quality of life improvements, making Punch Club 2: Fast Forward as awesome as we can make it!
Bug Fixes and Quality of Life
The new update contains a lot of bug fixes. We really mean a lot - it was multiple pages of small text just for the major ones, so we’re not going to worry about telling you about them all - just know that Punch Club 2: Fast Forward will now run more smoothly than it ever has before, and you should see less annoying bugs! If you still encounter any, make sure to report them on our Discord server! We’ve also included a bunch of quality-of-life features in the patch - just things to make playing the game a little less hassle. A great example of this is the fact that in the upgrade menu, if you hover over a move, the tooltip will now tell you if it's an attack/dodge/block, what it’s attacking, if it’s a modifier etc. This should make building your fighter a much less bothersome process! Good news everyone! We listened, and with this patch, you’ll be able to create your own leagues by launching the game with the latest update on Steam. Unfortunately, due to platform limitations, custom leagues do not work on consoles. Once in the game, you’ll notice a new button in the main menu labelled ‘Ladders’. Click it to dive into the world of custom leagues. In the ‘Ladders’ section, you’ll find all available leagues organized by tabs: recent leagues, leagues from Steam, and league creation. You can search for specific leagues by name and filter them by author (all, friends, mine) and by the number of fighters (4-6, 6-8, 9-11). For each league, you can see the player's score and progress, rating, number of votes, and the author who published it.
Creating A Custom League Of Your Own
Ready to create your own league? Head over to the ‘Create’ tab and click ‘Add’. In the window that opens, you can craft a league to your liking. Don’t forget to customize the appearance and starting stats for your player character in the league. You can choose between a human or a robot (which is fully customisable), and set the number of stat points and tech points available from the start. Once you’ve crafted your league and given it a name, you need to beat the league yourself before publishing. After completing it, you can choose to either publish or edit your league. If you exit, your league will remain in the ‘Create’ tab, ready for you to return and make further tweaks at any time. First, add opponents to the league – there can be from 5 to 11 of them. Press the ‘Add new fighter’ button to begin customizing each fighter's appearance or let the game's randomness decide for you. You can tweak each fighter’s head, arms, torso, and legs, and even paint any part of their body! If you're not satisfied with the result, simply reset all settings. Next, configure each opponent’s starting stats in terms of strength, agility, and stamina, and set the rewards for defeating them. Give each opponent an original name and choose a fighting style school or assign punch cards, which act as perks. Customize their default techniques, selecting strikes, defenses, and modifiers, which can be mixed regardless of the selected school or punch cards. It’s crucial to assign techniques to opponents; otherwise, the league cannot be published. For an extra layer of strategy, set up scenarios for enemy behavior. For example, configure what happens when an opponent's energy drops below 100 points or their health below 60. You can create up to three scenarios, but this is optional and purely for expanding your creative possibilities.
How To Share Your Custom Leagues
Once you’ve created and then beaten your custom league, you’ll be able to share it with the Punch Club 2 community. After you successfully complete your custom league, you’ll be presented with two options: ‘Publish’ or ‘Edit’. If you choose to publish, your league will become available for others to see and play. If you need to make further adjustments, you can select ‘Edit’ to fine-tune your league. If you exit without publishing, don’t worry—your league won’t disappear. It will remain in the ‘Create’ tab, allowing you to return and edit it at any time.

So now you know how to create, beat and share your custom leagues, champs! So what are you waiting for? We can’t wait to see what challenges you all dream up for everyone! We’ll see you in the ring Champs!
