[h3]Hi everyone![/h3] Backpack Battles is part of the [b]Steam Summer Sale with a 10% discount[/b]! And our [b]biggest update yet[/b] is live right now with many new items and quality-of-life features that were requested by you! There are 5 items that you can buy directly from the shop. This was based on this poll we made on [url=https://discord.gg/sbEkqeUKNr]our Discord server[/url] btw! [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44182194/57f8b5084d3b9c76d12ef6219b2deb132f70c3cd.jpg[/img] One of these items is the [b]Unidentified Amulet[/b], which transforms into one of 6 different new amulets. We also added [b]5 new recipes[/b]. Within this item set, there are some new mechanics like: [list] [*] A weapon that uses stamina to generate Empower [*] Items that are Magic, Holy, Dark and Vampiric all at the same time [*] The first craftable bag [*] A way to damage ranged opponents with Spikes [*] And more! [/list] That being said, it is to be expected that some of these new items will require balance adjustments in the future or push existing builds over the edge, so expect [b]balance adjustments[/b] in the following weeks until we are happy with the state! Speaking of balance… before we get there, here are some [b]quality-of-life highlights[/b] of this version: [h3]The combat log has grown more powerful![/h3] [olist] [*] It now tracks when (de)buffs are reflected, nullified, resisted, protected, or prevented. [*] When you hover over the entries after battle, it now restores states of items like potions, playing cards etc. as well as cooldowns and Battle Rage. [*] We also added [b]replay buttons[/b]! [*] The meters now show the [b]totals[/b] of damage done and stacks gained etc. and there are new ones for how often weapons missed attacks and were Out-of-stamina, activations and maximum health gained (all with plots!). [*] In the panel above the combat log, you can choose if you want to see log entries for [b]when an item activates[/b]. [*] Last, but not least music will now play after battle so you can inspect the combat log while listening to some nice medieval soundtrack by alkacrab! [/olist] Also, the inventory now has an [b]Undo/redo[/b] feature you can use if your restructuring did not quite work out as you have imagined. Just press Ctrl+Z to undo the last action and Ctrl+Y to redo it. We want to thank everyone who tested the new stuff and reported bugs - this makes it possible for us to add new content so quickly.
