Hey everyone, We’ve been running all over the place getting this second update ready for you, and yes, it does include wall running tweaks and a HUD size adjustment. We promise we’ve been listening! This patch has a ton of adjustments so you can check the full list below, but we’re super excited to call out the new map modes we’ve added. Test your best time in the Time Trial maps and take on a massive wave of enemies in the Horde Mode. Think you’ve got what it takes? GENERAL: [list] [*] Added 3 new "Time Trial" maps. [*] Added a "Horde Mode" map. [*] Added crosshair option to gameplay settings. [*] Added more fine grained difficulty options to settings menu. [*] Reduced HUD scale. [*] Removed max ammo count from HUD. [/list] MOVEMENT: [list] [*] Added third wall kick. [*] Added options to adjust Wallrun Tilt and Strafe Tilt. [*] Added wall stickiness slider. [*] Increased baseline wall run "stickiness". It should now be easier to attach to walls. [*] Increased base movement speed. [*] Increased slide duration. [*] Increased slide speed. [*] Slide hopping now gives more distance and speed. [*] Increased forward momentum gained from alternating walls. [/list] LEVELS: [list] [*] Final boss arena has been completely redesigned in order to give players an option to deal with the second round of turrets without firing a shot. [*] Additional voice lines have been added in E3M1, E3M2, and E3M3 in order to provide context to the final boss fight which previously appeared in hidden codex entries. [*] Several sections of E3M3 have been completely re-designed to give the player more options during combat. [*] E3M2 has been updated with additional checkpoints. [*] Two switches on E3M1 are now easier to hit. [*] Keycard on E1M2 is now easier to pick up. [*] Fixed hole in trigger on E1M1. [*] Fixed (for realsies this time) final arena fight in E2M2 not triggering. [/list] WEAPON BALANCE: [list] [*] Headshot damage on pistols increased from 75 -> 100. [*] Increased grenade launcher ammo cap from 6 to 8 grenades. [*] Changed railgun ammo pickups from orange to blue to help differentiate them from grenades. [*] Shotgun spread reduced from 3.0 to 2.5. [*] Increased damage output of shotgun by .5 per pellet. [*] Chaingun wind up speed increased by 0.3. [*] Chaingun damage output increased by 10 per shot. [/list] ENEMY BALANCE: [list] [*] Ninja attack damage doubled from 10 - 20. [*] Ninja walk speed increased from 1200 - 1300. [*] Robot grunt run speed increased from 600 - 800. [*] Shotgunner run speed increased from 600 - 740. [*] Ogre movement speed increased by 20 units. [*] Riot shield grunt movement speed increased from 600 - 700. [*] Riot shield grunt health reduced from 100 - 80. [*] Light mech class spectre will now properly ragdoll. [*] Light mech class spectre is now easier to headshot.
