Hi everyone! I’m MAICHA, the developer behind what was previously known as Project Final Strike. Since I released the first gameplay demo video back in May of last year, I’ve been blown away by all the support and encouragement from gamers. I want to sincerely thank you all for your interest! From the very start, my love for action and fighting games, as well as anime—especially classics like [i]Devil May Cry, Ninja Gaiden, Street Fighter[/i], and [i]Dragon Ball[/i]—inspired me to create [u]a fast-paced action game with intense visuals[/u]. That passion has driven me from the initial concept stages all the way through early development and those first demo videos. Today, I’m excited to officially announce the game as [b]Spirit X Strike[/b], and even more excited to share that we’ll be participating in Steam Next Fest! My hope is that through the Steam Next Fest playtest, I can reach even more players and gather even more feedback. The demo covers the prologue, which acts as a tutorial to introduce you to the game’s action systems. I wouldn’t dare compare my game to the big names in the genre, but I do hope that fellow action game fans will give it a try and see how it stacks up. The game is still in development, with plans to release in Early Access later this year.
