[h2]Siege The Day updates for the latest version[/h2] Prior to the release we have made some more adjustments to the game. Most of them have to do with the visual aspect of the game and less with the gameplay. First of all the gameplay change has to do with the troops and how they behave. During our playtests we saw that players rarely use the manual behavior for the troops. So we removed the manual use and adjusted their behavior. From now on when a troop is spawned it will check your base based on its radius for enemy troops. If there are any it will attack them and if not, it will proceed to attack enemy’s structures or troops based on its targets. We didn’t want troops to stay idle when they could not find any targets, so from now on if there are no more “valuable enemy structures” for the troop to destroy it will attack walls until everything is destroyed! This time you spend Gold coins to hire mercenaries, each squad has unique abilities and you can choose which one to use according to the situation of the battle. For more customization we have added the Input Settings. One change that falls under the two categories is the colour changes to troops and damage dealt and taken. First of all the damage that you deal to the enemy's troops or structures is now highlighted in red colour and the damage dealt to your troops and structures is in blue colour. Now you can see all your Ammo Producers with the time remaining until a new bullet is produced. Lastly a couple of internal changes have been made to the balancing of the game. Some units lost health points, some got better attacks and the pricing of troops has been rethinked. [h2]Visual Changes [/h2] So beyond the already mentioned changes to the Ammo Producers and Damage Visualization we also change the way the UI appears. At the bottom bar you can see the barrack icons. When coins appear in front of the image it means that you do not have the gold coins to produce this troop yet. When you produce troops, the icon of the unit will appear in the place of the image. As long as the troops are active you will always see their icon. When they are destroyed it will return back to the original image. When the image has turned red it means that the barrack is destroyed and can no longer produce anything. [/h2] We have changed the background so we can focus better on the front opened windows. Also instances of the camera behaving weird when a window is opened is fixed. Plus a number of bugs have been fixed that had to do with the troops AI behaviour, placement of units on top of walls and the camera movement. The Friends List has been updated to match the rest of the UI and its function has been set properly. If you don’t want to play you can just ignore the prompt. When the challenger removes his challenge the button will turn back to the normal state.
