G’day Generals! Like a boomerang, we’re back again with a new RISK Community Bulletin. But first, a fun fact. Earlier this month we released a new RISK Roadmap discussing our plans from May to July 2024. [b]Update v4.0[/b] Another major milestone we’re excited to hit is the Alpha and Beta versions of update v4.0, which will be the highly anticipated Network Overhaul. If you’ve been a RISK fan for a while, you’d know how important the Network Overhaul is. But for those who are newer to the game, RISK currently relies on a third party networking solution for multiplayer features which we are in the process of changing. As part of this change we are reworking the game’s entire multiplayer functionality to give us better overall stability, security and performance of all RISK multiplayer games. This will also allow us to implement new ideas, such as Single Player Game Saves, playing games over extended periods of time and more!
