Hello everyone,
my name is josh, I designed qomp and just want to thank you all so much on behalf of everyone on the team! We have enjoyed your comments, videos and speedruns a lot!
A speedrun community for qomp has formed and there are already some great times and insane skips!
If you want to check out how speedrunning qomp works, head over to the

qomp speedrunning discord
--> https://discord.gg/q9jN9puxZ7
I have been extremely exhausted, but am now joining clovelt, who has been fixing bugs already!
We are planning to have a big patch out by next week, bringing a Speedrun Mode!
This mode contains a timer as well as a skip for the tutorial and some debug options for learning and routing!
Thanks again to the qomp speedrunners for helping us figure out what they need :)
Additionally this update should do the following things:
-- make map more stable and less prone to crashing
-- preventing double input from some gamepads
-- small level design changes I should have dont for the release but forgot
-- code updates high refresh rate monitors
-- rework of some challenges (one of them is broken, the others need quality of life fixes)
-- fix some smaller, weird bugs
-- making the menu nicer
If you have trouble with the savegame of qomp, please contact us! One person lost their progress 3 times but we are unable to pinpoint why :(
In the long term, we are working on bringing qomp to mobile and consoles!
These processes can take quite a long time, but we hope we can do it as quickly as possible :)
Britt Brady is also currently looking into compiling the official soundtrack for qomp, but it is too early to annoucne anything definite there :)
If you have any questions, bug reports or comments, please just reach out to us through steams community hub :)
For now, thank you all so much again & have a nice day :))
cheers,
josh
