Kill (or be killed by) an enemy to unlock it in practice mode. Using the Practice Area will not effect save data so you can save and exit a run and practice fighting an upcoming miniboss before returning to your run to fight "for real." Alternatively, [b]high level players can use the Practice Area as a sandbox to test their skills.[/b] So you can beat the game on hard? How about fighting 5 Spider Tanks at once! Or 4 Gold Leaders!? The [b]Practice Area also has detailed info on the back story, strengths, and weaknesses of each enemy type[/b] if you're up for a read.
