Post release summary and roadmap for upcoming weeks!

Siege Survival: Gloria Victis

A medieval city under siege and a handful of civilians are all that keep the walls from falling. Mixing survival strategy and resource management, build your camp, craft supplies, and scavenge the occupied city to supply the last troops holding back the invaders.

Greetings, survivors! It's been a week since the release of Siege Survival and we are very happy to see that you like the game and see its potential. We can't express enough how happy we were to see the game reaching the top 6 in bestsellers this week and still holding on the top of the New and Trending Steam chart with a score of over 80% positive reviews! It is heartwarming to see so many positive reviews praising the gameplay, unique setting, and bug-free experience, and we are honored that you found a place for us in your hearts! We are reading all reviews, topics on forums, and messages sent to us through our socials. We see you like the game's mechanics and the story of Edring's Last Stand a lot. Also, the experienced players find it enjoyable to face the available Challenges and experiment with New Game Plus feature which lets you adjust your next gameplay even more. However, by reading your reviews it becomes clear to us that most of you would like to see more unique content in the game. We are a small indie team that was always putting our Community first before anything else, and to be close with the Community is one of the most precious things for us. We are super thankful for your feedback! We are always here for you and we can assure you that we are working already and will work further on the game to introduce a lot of improvements and additional content. To make our pledge official, we are happy to share the post-release roadmap that will explain what is the plan for the upcoming weeks for Siege Survival. We will also fix some small bugs with guards AI and balance the number of guards a little on the highest alert level. In addition to that, we are continuing our work on Siege Editor - the complex tool that we used to create the "Edring's Last Stand" scenario and you can already use to make your own stories! As we are working on its documentation right now, we are still adding new features that will allow you to have more tools to differ your own creations. We also starting cooperation with some pro modders communities so you can expect to see their contribution and mod contests in the future. In the upcoming update, you will be able to access enemy creator to change the guard's stats, loot, and visuals, and animal room system, which will help you to set up the animal's needs and products.
Dynamic Events
We know, that the castle gameplay is fun when it comes to the mechanics of building, crafting, and micromanaging your castle crew. But we also know, that the late stages of the game can become slightly repetitive and there is too little going on story-wise in the castle. We want to improve that by adding dynamic events, conjugated with our auto balancer system. Those events will be randomly generated and will happen in the morning or during the day in the day phase. They will provide some more storytelling and some more positive and negative modifications that will impact your gameplay. We hope those will be a great addition to the game and improve your experience.
New desert scenario
As you clearly said as a Community, that you want more content, we will deliver. We are creating a new scenario for Siege Survival, titled "Lost caravan". Its action will take place in the far south, in dessert areas near the trade route between Sangmar Empire and the Central Sea which is imperial traders' main path for export and import goods with other nations. We will not spoil more details about the story yet, but we can say that the gameplay will be totally different and the goals you would need to achieve to win the scenario will also be different. We hope you will like it!
