Steam achievements

Upon entering the character selection screen, you will now automatically receive any Steam achievements that were missed due to recent bugs.

Netcode

To resolve bugs with status effect resets and unpickable loot, we have completely overhauled the connection and list networking code.

Balance:

  • Added cooldown to Beartrap when used by enemy NPCs 5 -> 30
  • Added cooldown to Quick Affliction when used by enemy NPCs 5 -> 15
  • Added most elites and bosses also requiring mana for abilities
  • Added stability to player against lower level NPCs
  • Added regaining some mana when reviving self
  • Reduced instant cast speed of enemy NPCs by 17%
  • Reduced difficulty when playing with fewer or low level NPC companions
  • Reduced lost rating when leaving PvP arena
  • Removed invisible attribute requirements for equipment that grants vitality, stamina or magic
  • Increased chance of large building map (smaller maps) 5% -> 10%
  • Changed dismissing ai companions to reset all their skills and talents
  • Changed spawning too many deserter groups
  • Changed no longer losing target when dead
  • Updated version of Unity Necode for GameObjects

Changes & Requested Features:

  • Added detailed tooltip for talents
  • Added mana bar to character plates
  • Added text when entering area that player is disguised
  • Changed: No longer losing Lichsilber if you had 0 Lichsilber when you died
  • Failing picklock now does not interrupt animation
  • Increased minimum success rate for lockpicking 0% -> 40%
  • Increase font size of names in the Overworld
  • Increases search size in leaderboard for current character
  • Re-enabled banners for factions (Overworld)
  • Changed Overworld terrain pixel error from 30->15 in default settings (low will remain 30)
  • Changed some words in Japanese localization (Utility Sword and Dagger)
  • Changed achievement points calculation for unlocks higher than +3
  • Changed some Steam achievement descriptions

Fixes:

  • Fixed five not working Steam achievements
  • Fixed that quests could be canceled at NPC that hands out contracts
  • Fixed that players could craft with full inventory
  • Fixed NPCs giving out items when player inventory is full
  • Fixed talent Critical Deflection not working correctly
  • Fixed wrong icon for Green Forest Watch Armor
  • Fixed that you could equip shield / bow in main-hand
  • Fixed agility gems sharing names
  • Fixed an issue where weapon stats were always compared with armor stats when buying / selling / checking
  • Fixed error: while dropping item and mouse hovering other item to drop that instead
  • Fixed a location where players could get stuck
  • Fixed object in cinematic clip through wall
  • Fixed damage over time effects sometimes ticking multiple times when playing with or against other players
  • Fixed everfrost potion removing all debuffs
  • Fixed not being able to dispell healing over time effects that are used as damage over time effects
  • Fixed not networking gatherables correctly when party leader leaves conquest
  • Fixed shooting bow sometimes costing too much energy
  • Fixed demanding lichsilver back not working correctly if not party leader
  • Fixed duplicate heal / mana potions in inventory
  • Fixed not always networking mana correctly
  • Fixed not being able to buy back sold items if not having enough reputation
  • Fixed spawning level 10 ghouls in lvl 1 areas
  • Fixed looted items respawning when entering world of other player in some regions
  • Fixed 1st boss sometimes not flying away
  • Fixed 1st boss sometimes resetting aggro
  • Fixed losing status effect Blinding Radiance when hit by blinded enemy
  • Fixed ability Piercing Arrow not working correctly when used with bow
  • Fixed not activating ui when reviving / spawning character
  • Fixed stucking in air when falling into exit area
  • Fixed one cinematic not using volume settings
