Patch - July 2021

Terraforming Mars

The taming of the Red Planet has begun! Corporations are competing to transform Mars into a habitable planet by spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise temperature, create a breathable atmosphere, and make oceans of water.

Greetings, terraformers! We just received news from the corporations, the update has successfully landed on Mars! Changes and improvements

New “No animation” option to get faster turn resolution.
Better clock experience in multiplayer games: the time left to play is displayed for each player, and alerts are blinking when there’s little time left.
The clock is synchronized more often with the server to avoid side effects.
When launching a multiplayer game, the default timer value is now set at 2 hours. The 1-hour setting is still available.
Notifications in the main menu and lobby when it’s your turn to play in a game you’re participating in.
When the AI replaces a player, the name of the player changes to “AI” and the level of the AI difficulty.
At the end of the game, when you don’t have enough plants to convert into forests, you don’t need to confirm it anymore.
During the draft phase, a “?” icon is displayed instead of an incorrect Corporation.
Ingame leaderboard displays correct information for players not yet ranked, and updates correctly the ranking values.
Changed interaction for the Noctis City, Ganymede Colony, and Phobos Space Heaven cards: no need to select the cell anymore, the tile is used automatically.
Added tooltips to explain the player’s objectives in solo mode.
Better consistency for the “selected board” UI (selected UI, resources displayed…).
Bug fixes

Pressing Esc while checking a card from the logs won’t block the game anymore.
The Space Station card now properly gives Victory Points.
Various translation and UI fixes.
Known bugs

Wrong tooltip text for the new “Automatic board switch” feature.
We are aware that the games still contain bugs that might damage the experience. We had some internal changes that postponed this update a bit. However, we are now fully operational and already working on the next update in order to improve the game with bug fixing and quality of live improvements! See you on the red planet, terraformers!
