It means that any match online will be ranked for now, it is based on an ELO system, the higher in rank your opponent is the more score you get. Every one starts at 1000 points. You can see the leaderboard in the game or here : https://steamcommunity.com/stats/724300/leaderboards/2874238/ What changed in the recent updates : - New input for grab, shield + normal attack - Rolling now change side by default, it means if you shield and roll + release the direction input, the characater would face his opposite side (if you avoid an opponent attack, you will most likely be facing him at this moment) if the shield is still pressed then you only need to input a normal attack to make a grab possible here. - Some change in the menu to be able to have more options, see more controllers - Fixed some online freezes that disconnected players. - Needle new slide attack, with a up momentum making it easier to connect to the next move. - Fixed grabs - Changed some hitboxes/hurtboxes on few characters attacks.
