I'd like to take a minute to talk about our progress in the game and make some announcements.
[h1]The Future of Killswitch Games[/h1]
As you may know from my last post for the 2.0A update, I am a solo developer for Killswitch (my company). Not anymore, [b][i]technically[/i][/b]. I have started working with one of my closest IRL friends on map design and the [b]story[/b] for Cargo. She is working under Killswitch Games but she is not working for me. I'd also like to announce that Killswitch Games is currently in the process of being renamed to Floppy Fish Studios. I'd like to focus on creating silly goofy fun games for everyone to play. And I think that the name Killswitch is too... Violent? Especially for the type of games I work on.
[h1]When should you expect Cargo to be released?[/h1]
I plan to release Cargo sometime during the summer this year at the earliest, this could extend into fall but it is unlikely. After the release, we will definitely keep making updates. This is my first ever game, so I plan to put everything into it.
[h1]Our Next Project[/h1]
For our next project, [b]Silly Cat Game[/b]. Which is pretty self explanatory. I have worked on it a little bit during my downtime working on Cargo. But i'm not going to fully commit to it till after I fully publish Cargo. Also, SCG will be created in Godot which should help with lag and such stuff. I will have to figure out how to integrate it onto Steam but once I work on it and get a first release for it, it will be on itch.io for free.
