Open Country

Ok Scout, it's time to show us what you’re made of-break free from your city life and live like a real outdoorsman. The wilderness isn’t for the faint of heart, but if you work hard, learn how to use the environment and be one with nature, you too can become a Master Outdoorsman.

Hi, everyone. We wanted to let you know what we are working on for the next update. The following items are currently undergoing QA testing. There are more items in the works and some of these fixes may be held back to a later update. * The “Building Up” mission items will now spawn properly. * Removed the repeated ‘grunting’ sound when the player is suffering from an injury. * Animal footstep volume has been reduced. * Fixed issues associated with refilling the water bottle. * Collision with storable items (i.e. logs) has been removed to prevent players from getting stuck. * Your dog’s hunger will now properly increase over time. * The dog’s bonding level will no longer reset when traveling to the hub. * Fixed issue that resulted in a Co-Op Host’s main menu disappearing after entering then leaving a co-op lobby. * Removing double icons that are obscuring visibility of the environment. * The icon pointing to Chip's location will no longer remain on screen after completion of the mission. This update will go live for PC no sooner than Wednesday the 23rd. Consoles will receive a smaller update that is already in the works before receiving the changes listed above. We are investigating changes to resource gathering and are planning to add multiple graphics settings to the main menu. It is too soon to know if they will make it into this next update. Thank you for playing Open Country and for submitting feedback and bugs!
