Together with the second DLC we are releasing patch 1.5 with a major gameplay update that, among other things, includes a number of UI/UX improvements.
That patch will be avilable for free for all the players.
New stuff in Patch 1.5:
1. Added new difficulty modifier - Prestige mode - that adds weapon durability mechanic, increases the lethality of the combat, lowers the time in chapters and generally makes the game even more hardcore.
2. Added civic talents - a variety of passive abilities that give the character various out-of-battle bonuses.
3. Added hydration mechanic in Outremer. Consuming water in that chapter will now temporarily protect you from the heat fatigue gain.
4. Added Damietta bazaar with a variety of different shops that contain all kinds of items.
5. Added 9 new trinkets including one that counters heat fatigue gain under certain conditions.
6. Survival mode now has a shop where the player can buy and sell items in between rounds.
7. Added keyboard support for in-battle controls.
8. Added quick action buttons to some of the item interaction menus (equipping and unequipping items, selling items and moving items between chest and inventory can be now done with one mouse click).
9. Added trinket presets menu that will allow the player to save several trinket combinations and them quickly swap between them.
10. Added different colors to characters' names in dialogues.
11. Added a couple of new scavenge events.
Balance changes:
1. Healing injuries will now return only a percentage of the lost characteristics instead of fully restoring them. In Prestige mode you will receive back 50% of the points, on HWR and Hard difficulties - 75%, on Normal and Story difficulties - 100%.
2. Punishments for leaving an injuries untreated have been increased.
3. Mechanical crossbow has been reworked. Operating the crossbow will now require a certain amount of points in craftsmanship and crossbow skill. Repairing and unjamming the drum will now require specific items. Shooting in automatic modes will now generate a recoil that will decrease the accuracy (but is in turn decreased by strength).
Mechanical crossbow's price in manual character creation mode has been increased.
4. Crafting now consumes a tiny bit of time.
5. Item prices have been rebalanced and are overall more expensive now.
Fixes and minor additions:
1. Field surgery kit will now count as a medical item in Hadley.
2. Beibars will not be able to retreat with a broken leg.
3. Buying recipes from Anna no longer boosts your relationship with her. Relationship bonus points for other quests have been recalculated to add up to 100 if all completed successfully.
4. Fixed a bug with an ally going crazy in a desert cave which resulted in the game crashing.
5. Fixed a bug that could lead to Rennes being captured by the mercenaries despite the city strength score being way higher.
6. Fixed a number of various minor Anna-related issues.
As always, if you enjoy the game - please consider leaving a review on Steam. Make your voice heard.
