Disclaimer: DON'T PANIC! I already backed up the most recent development build. It is stored safely, soundly, and snuggly across multiple redundant devices. That being said, while attempting to install a pair of 8GB ram sticks early this afternoon, I may or may not have completely and utterly destroyed the only (relatively) powerful and up-to-date machine in my household. Best case scenario, I get it into a professional place next Monday, and they have it fixed by Tuesday, after which I can continue bug squashing. Likely case: I'll have to buy a new computer, probably a renewed or refurbished one, on the cheap. It could be more than a week before I get it, it might not be functional, and I might have to return it and wait another week or so to get another one. If you reach the true final boss, more specifically the true true final phase, which is an autoscrolling SHMUP (spoiler,) wait out the sweeping eye laser attack and deal the last couple blows a second or two after it disappears. If it dies while the laser is out, the game will crash. No I don't know how neither me nor my testers caught this, but credit to StarvingHound for being the one to find it.
