Greetings, worthy Souls!
In the past year or so since the release of [i]Soul Survivor: Trials of the Goddess[/i], I've continued working on a project which had been conceptualized and prototyped back in 2023, prior to going on the back burner for some time as I made the final sprint to complete the last chapter of Soul Survivor. After supporting Soul Survivor's post-release with some content updates and patches (which continued up until fairly recently), I was at last able to give this next project my full attention - so here we are, with a new demo for this upcoming project: [i]Moonfell: the Tides of Aether[/i]!
While this game shares some of the same "bones" as Soul Survivor and features a similar, retro/8-bit aesthetic, it's a unique, narrative-driven game with a large cast of characters and a greater emphasis on storytelling. I would also characterize it as a more forgiving game, particularly during the early part of the storyline, but not lacking in complexity by any means. (and there's an Expert mode, if you're looking for a [u]real[/u] challenge!)
For anyone who enjoyed Soul Survivor or who is just a fan of retro RPGs in general, I hope you'll consider giving [i]Moonfell: the Tides of Aether[/i] a look!
