New DEMO update and the start of Combat PLAYTEST

[list] [*] [b]Character Screen[/b] - Now you can inspect the stats of your character and alter them with... [*] [b]Cyberware[/b] - A major RPG component of the game is the ability to buy Cyberware in the Black Market, which is now available in the hub. (You earn the money you need by completing the demo mission, and you can then try it out in the Combat Simulator.) [*] Improved combat UI with a better communication of when your combo is online. [*] [b]Improved card animations and handling[/b] - Based on the feedback we received, we’ve completely overhauled how you interact with the cards. The new system feels much smoother and is now on par with the standards you’d expect from the genre. [*] Improved combat animations and VFX. [*] Quite a lot of UI improvements of pretty much every screen in the game. [*] [b]Enemy inspect screen[/b] - A brand new UI screen that allows you to take a closer look at each enemy, inspect their stats, and see the cards they can play. [*] [b]New Music[/b] - We've added another track to combat and a special music track for boss battles. There’s also a brand new music track for the hub and world map. [*] The way music is handled has also changed, so it should no longer get abruptly interrupted when you change screens. [*] [b]Xbox controller support[/b] - The demo should be fully playable with an Xbox controller. If you find anything that isn’t working as expected, be sure to let us know. [/list] [h2]Start of the Combat PLAYTEST[/h2] Even though HeistGeist is a story-focused RPG, the card combat constitutes a significant part of the game. With more than 40 cards, each with two different upgrades, there’s plenty of room for discovering powerful combinations and builds, as well as playstyles that might not meet expectations.
