Our game HeistGeist is being a part of the first issue of [b][url=https://store.steampowered.com/developer/TwoHalfStudios/sale/thestorytellersfestival]Storyteller's Festival[/url][/b] here on Steam. The demo of our game received a new update with multiple small, but important changes, that we'd like to tell you more about below.

[h3]Choice events[/h3]

[*] [b]Change to the screen layout[/b] - Outcomes of your choices are now shown on the right side of the screen in a form of a list
[*] [b]Updated typography[/b] - We have changed the default font, adjusted the spacing and font sizes of various texts, to make them more pleasant to read
[*] [b]Dynamic image change[/b] - The title image associated with each event can now sometimes change to better illustrate what's taking place in the event
[*] [b]More character animations[/b] - The characters on the left side of the screen are now more reactive to what's happening in the particular events
[*] [b]Animated text[/b] - The texts of the event are now revealed gradually as they fade-in onto the screen over a short period of time
[*] [b]New texts[/b] - Pretty much all of the texts of the Choice Events went through rewrites, stylistic changes and proofreading

[*] [b]Simplified card texts[/b] - Introduced a new keyword Combo, that replaced the usually quite wordy explanation of how playing the cards in sequence work. The explanation has now moved to the card tooltip.

[*] [b]Camera Shake[/b] - Due to a mistake, all the attacks and hits lacked the proper impact before, but not anymore!
[*] [b]Replaced Vigilance with Payback[/b] - The Vigilance status effect is now replaced with a new, similar status effect, called Payback. It reads: [i]Payback [X] - When this character is attacked, they deal [X] damage to the attacker. Lasts for one turn. [/i]
[*] [b]Special attack animations for combos[/b] - Currently experimental. When you meet the combo requirement of playing a card in sequence with card of a certain type, it now has a slightly different animation.
