To unlock Act 2, first beat an Orc Warlord, then a Templar will appear right as you exit the first room inside the Lobby, then go left to the open door where the corpse of a filthy demon is. Be very careful! These new mobs are way stronger, pick your shot, aim for the head or lower torso, protect your head and torso if they manage to get close, block ranged attacks.
