Megapicker Weekend Update

The Jackbox Megapicker

The Jackbox Megapicker is a game launcher for all of your Jackbox games. This free bit of software will allow you to launch all owned games from one convenient location. This means that you will no longer need to switch between Party Packs to start playing the games you love most.

What a week! The Jackbox Megapicker and a sequel to Fakin' It?!??! We'll let's not stop there! We've taken your feedback seriously and have updated The Jackbox Megapicker!
Filters now include duration, player count, and Party Pack!
Choose the number of folks you're playing with and see the games that fit your group with the new Player Count filter. Squeeze a game in before you have to leave!. Just use the Duration filter and adjust the min and max time to hone in on the perfect game for the time you have. Filter by Pack. Sure, the point of the Megapicker is to show all your games regardless of which Party Pack they're in, but sometimes you still want to see what's where. The new Advanced Filter allows you to filter your games by which Party Pack they're in so you won't make the same mistake we did by putting Trivia Murder Party 2 in Party Pack 7.
This release also includes some general bug fixes and improvements
Most notably: - Some Windows users were unable to launch The Jackbox Megapicker a second time. This bug has been fixed and the Megapicker will load every time. - A small subset of Steam Deck users experienced a boot loop if they restarted their Steam Deck after launching The Jackbox Megapicker. This has been resolved in the Megapicker. - Properly attribute Trivia Murder Party 2 to Party Pack 6. Woops!
Known issues:
- In some scenarios, games launch to the normal Party Pack loading screen as opposed directly to the title. We're actively investigating this one to better understand why. It will not have any impact on your game play, but we totally get it's pretty annoying. - The Jackbox Party Packs 1 and 2 may not always launch in full screen. We're working on a fix for that. As a workaround, you can load the Party Pack by itself, change to fullscreen mode and exit. Subsequent launches via the Megapicker will be in full screen. - Some users are reporting issues with saved data from games like Zeeple Dome not loading when launching via The Megapicker. We are actively investigating this.
Next up:
- Localization! We've received all of the strings back from our localization partners and will start getting builds through our QA process for release! - More and/or adjustments to filters. We're reading your feedback to better understand how you want filters to work and will be rolling out updates based on your feedback. - Native controller support! Editing this in because I completely forgot it and you've all be asking for it. It's definitely in the works! - Plenty of surprises in store!
Please continue to use that feedback button in The Jackbox Megapicker!
