The Jackbox Megapicker is a game launcher for all of your Jackbox games. This free bit of software will allow you to launch all owned games from one convenient location. This means that you will no longer need to switch between Party Packs to start playing the games you love most.
We didn't get these out for the weekend, but they're here now.
Based on your feedback we've made some changes to filtering and sorting!
Owned and favorited games are weighted over unowned titles in the library. This means when you filter, you'll always see games you own before anything else.
We've received a lot of feedback on confusion surrounding filters and what's actually happening, so we've added some visual cues to help clarify things.
- Advanced Filters will now show a count of the filters applied
- Divider lines between items that perfectly match your filters and everything else
- Library view returns to the top when you adjust filters
Library view now has the ability to sort by Alphabetical order instead of release date via a setting in Advanced Filters.
Fixed Issues:
[strike]- In some scenarios, games launch to the normal Party Pack loading screen as opposed directly to the title. We're actively investigating this one to better understand why. It will not have any impact on your game play, but we totally get it's pretty annoying.[/strike] - FIXED!
[strike]- Some users are reporting issues with saved data from games like Zeeple Dome not loading when launching via The Megapicker. We are actively investigating this. [/strike] - FIXED!
Known Issues:
- The Jackbox Party Packs 1 and 2 may not always launch in full screen. We're working on a fix for that. As a workaround, you can load the Party Pack by itself, change to fullscreen mode and exit. Subsequent launches via the Megapicker will be in full screen.
Next Up:
- A fully localized build is working its way through QA! We have some small UI elements to fix for our German friends, but hope to have it released within a week.
- Native gamepad / controller support is in active development.
- Past Games and Galleries accessible outside of jackbox.tv
