Only the top 8 officially sponsored esports teams can be put through to compete. At the start of each round you’ll choose from one of three actions for your character to perform: [b][i]Attack! Defend! Special![/i][/b] All moves have a specific counter, for example; Attacking will power through an opponent's Special move while a Special move can get around an enemy's Defence. To guarantee victory one must first know how their opponent will react. FoD2 is, in a nutshell, all about anticipation. So constantly being on the attack is no use against a player that likes to play defensively.
