As you may know, The King's Campaign is an updated standalone version of the Royal Blood DLC campaign for Medieval Kingdom Wars
One of those updates is to add Manual Saving of the campaign to the game, allowing players to go back to an earlier version of their campaigns if they find they've gone down the wrong

This was an often requested feature for Medieval Kingdom Wars but it wasn't added as there was a chance it would break existing saved games for thousands of players. A version of manual saving was eventually added to Kingdom Wars 4 as we were able to do that early enough in development to not affect too many players adversely.
With The King's Campaign being separate to Medieval Kingdom Wars, we've been able to add an updated version of manual saving to the game without having to worry about existing saves
This should hopefully give players a better experience playing The King's Campaign
