Major Update #1 Released

We just launched the first major update for Gran Vitreous which will bring new content and weapons to the game along with a few minor tweaks and fixes. Here's everything you'll find in the update: [h1]New Weapon Types:[/h1] 2 New Main weapons: [list] [*]Tesla Chain: A chain of electric energy. On hitting an enemy the electric damages bounces to nearby enemies. [*]Magnetron Beam: Wide beam of energy that shakes apart enemies in close range. [/list] 2 New Secondary weapons: [list] [*]Decoy Ship: Launch a holographic clone of your ship to distract enemies and damage those that get too close. [*]Missile Platform: Deploy a short lived, fast firing homing missile launcher. [/list] 2 New Super weapons: [list] [*]Black Hole Bomb: Pulls in surrounding enemies then detonates creating a large explosion [*]Bouncing Barrage: Launches a wave of bouncing bombs 360 degrees around the ship causing explosions across the entire zone. [/list] [h1]New Heroic Mode:[/h1] Heroic mode allows you to keep playing and advancing beyond the games final boss. Heroic mode has 4 tiers to progress through as you find better gear. Rarer legendary items drop only in this mode which are necessary to keep progressing. All areas are set to the same level range based on the Heroic tier setting but later areas have higher legendary drop rates to reward players who fight through the tougher zone types. [h1]New Legendary Item Rarity:[/h1] Legendary items are rarer more powerful items available in Heroic Mode. Legendary items can't be altered in the engineering station which will make it necessary to seek out better items in order to progress through the Heroic tiers. [b]Other Fixes/Changes:[/b] [list] [*]Added legendary items to the shop when over level 100 [*]Removed concept of sold out from the shop. The item purchased will now be rerolled [*]Added expand and contract animation to radial weapon selection [*]Lowered opacity for enemy hit reactions [*]Fixed missile spray not triggering failure of 'Don't Use Secondary' zone bonus objective [*]Fixed explosion flashes not resetting between zones [*]Replaced sound for a bouncing bomb hitting the zone wall [*]Fixed being able to change weapons while a charge shot was still firing which was allowing two sets of charged shots [/list]
