[list] [*]A good way to tell if a map isn't near completion is if it starts with a pink boost buoy. This usually means it doesn't have the normal boost buoys that only provide one speed star. [/list] [list] [*]Fluid dynamics! Ooo pretty water. [/list] [list] [*]The general hover-boat behavior is almost where we want it. At this point it's very responsive and feels like a "boat" that's slightly hovering. Currently it may be a bit too responsive which is more noticed at slow speeds. When moving very quickly, the responsiveness is appreciated lol [/list] [list] [*]Many UI improvements. Font has been nearly finalized and is licensed through google. Controller support for the menu has improved [/list] [list] [*]Music is finally in the works! Currently working closely with different artists. [/list] [list] [*]Buoyancy! It's very hard to come up with what the water would feel like in a vehicle like this. Right now the buoyancy ramps up the closer you are to the surface. The deeper you are, the more the hover-boat wants to stay down. [/list] [list] [*]Models. MANY model updates like ramps and buoys to be in line with the art style we want to achieve. [/list] [list] [*]Checkpoints are more visible. Flying and Diving checkpoints and guide arrows signify that the player will need to jump or dive to get them. [/list] [list] [*]Now that a lot of general game logic and performance is getting near what we want to see, we are getting back into the maps. This includes general level, biomes and course design.
