Tasked with finding a lost woman, private investigator Herbert Castaigne sails to the mysterious, fabled island of Soracca where he finds an imposing mansion. What he finds inside will change his life forever... as it will change yours.
Hey all! Happy Spooky-Month!
I've made some small changes to the game to help make certain puzzles a little more understandable. Notably the garden maze and the library riddle has a few more hints throughout the manse that should make them more understandable for new-time players.
You'll also notice several blood-scrawled messages through the ruins and second floor. I've decided to go back and add some more lore to the game directly. This is coming in conjunction with a new Fandom Wiki that I'll be using to give more context to certain areas in the game. You can find it at the link below.
https://soracca.fandom.com/wiki/Soracca_Wiki
This wiki also functions as something of a hint booklet. If there's a particular item or area that you're a little confused about, just give it a search on the Wiki. However, for those of you who want to be challenged by the cryptic nature of the puzzles in TMOS, avoid this Wiki until you have finished the game. It contains a number of spoilers and will certainly sour the experience for those who don't like to have the solution given away.
If you feel like helping out and see a red link, feel free to create a page of your own on the Wiki! I'll be chipping away at this when I have some free time, so expect some dead links right now.
That's all for now! If you haven't bought TMOS yet, keep your eyes peeled throughout the next few months. There might just be some sales on the horizon! And if you have bought it, thanks for reading these updates and continuing to play "The Manse on Soracca"! Your continued support is deeply appreciated!
Happy investigating!
