You’ll now be able to pick between 8 hairstyles, and a variety of natural and fantasy hair colors. There are also a dozen new options for the outfit! In addition, there are also two new categories that can be unlocked later on in the game: aprons and hats. With these upgrades, your character will look like a real baker! Honey can be used to bake new recipes such as a honey taffy and honey macaron. Building the beehive will also increase the growth speed of the plants in the greenhouse as they’ll now get pollinated. I hope you’ll all enjoy the variety of sweets that I’ve prepared for the game! [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38364358/36657f3ee39916133862a464ede0a5e6c34f888f.png[/img] [h2]Level Up[/h2] Now that all the recipes are available in the game, I had to create a system to learn them over time. This can be done by gaining experience and leveling up. For each level that you gain, you’ll be able to pick one recipe to learn out of three available. Experience is gained from doing different tasks around the bakery such as serving customers, mixing a recipe, cleaning a spill or watering plants. [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/38364358/cb110f2295656bfa995c27859371b4689bb414b5.png[/img] [h2]Morning Preparation[/h2] This feature was probably the most requested after the demo: a moment in the morning to prepare your bakery for the day, before any customers come in! You’ll be able to open your store whenever you want, so the morning preparation time can last for as long (or as little!) as you want. I’ve also added the time of the day to the main user interface so you can always easily see what period of the day you’re in. [h2]Upcoming Release[/h2] With the release in six weeks, I’m now mostly focused on playtesting, balancing the game and fixing bugs. I still have a few features and quality of life updates to add, but the game is almost finished! I’m really looking forward to sharing it with you all!
