Following months of upgrades and testing, the new BR Class 484 entered service in November 2021. These 2-car EMUs retain their Underground soul, but are also kitted out with modern cabs, revised interiors, digital destination displays, and new headlights. Additional work was also done to reinstate a passing loop at Brading. The Island Line 2022: BR Class 484 doesn’t require Rivet Games’ Isle of Wight: Ryde – Shanklin as the BR Class 484 comes with its own modern version of the route. This modern-day line for Train Sim World 2 features improved and expanded environmental details along the line like Disabled Access Ramps, Platform end gates, Ryde Pier Clock plus much more. New signalling has been implemented together with a rework of station platforms further enhancing the realism on the route.
