Load speed while playing Hajimari no Kiseki under certain conditions may be extremely slow. Please follow these steps to try and resolve the issue: ■ Update Windows 10 operating system and your video/graphics drivers Try updating your video card drivers, as oftentimes outdated drivers can cause a variety of issues. In addition, please confirm if you have installed the latest system updates for Windows 10. ■ Add Hajimari no Kiseki files and folders to your anti-virus software's exception list Some launching and performance issues may be attributed to certain Anti-Virus software deleting game files. Adding all of the game files and folders to the Anti-virus's exception list may prevent this issue. Adding folders to the exception list: ・Open Steam client and go to [Library]. Select Hajimari no Kiseki and click the gear icon, then select [Manage] - [Browse local files]. Add the folders listed to the exception list. ・Open the Win64 folder in the bin folder where the game's executable file [ed8_ps5_D3D11.exe] is located. Please add the file to the exception list as well. ・Once you have registered the files to the exception list, proceed with the Verify integrity of game files process below. *For a guide on adding exceptions, please refer to the manual of your anti-virus software, or contact the manufacturer of the anti-virus software. ■Verify integrity of game files Open Steam client and go to [Library]. Select Hajimari no Kiseki and click the gear icon, then select [Properties]. Select [LOCAL FILES] from the opened window, then click the [Verify integrity of game files...] button to start the game file verification process. The process may take some time. After the process is completed, the Steam client will repair the corrupted game files automatically. ■Give administrator privileges to Steam and the game In some situations, administrator privileges will be required to get the game running properly. Follow the steps below to setup Administrator Privileges. 1) Click the gear icon for The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari no Kiseki in the Steam library, and select Manage -> Browse Local Files. 2) In Explorer, open the folder in which Hajimari no Kiseki is installed and then go to bin -> Win64. 3) Right-click on ed8_ps5_D3D11.exe in the Win64 folder. 4) Click on Properties and go to the Compatibility tab.
