Hello! thank you so so much for the love on the demo so far, it's been amazing seeing the response! some of you gave me a few ideas on QoL features and I heard you loud and clear! on top of that, I also added a couple of dice from the full game to make some rarity tiers a bit more diverse. hope you enjoy <3
NEW DICE:
- Ice Die (Uncommon)
- Vampire Die (Rare)
- Cosmic Die (Legendary)
NEW FEATURES:
- dice with area effects now display their exact range by holding CTRL when hovered. dice that spawn other dice with area effects (like Fire Die or Paper Die) also display their range despite not having the effect themselves. this also takes into account any rings or effects you may have that would alter dice's range.
- added a new "auto select" button. you need to turn it on in settings in order for it to appear. it automatically selectes your higher rarity and/or higher value dice for the sake of convenience. it's made for those first few rounds where there isn't much thinking to do and you just go with the highest dice possible. keep in mind this is still largely untested so it might cause some bugs.
- dice spawned by others are now limited to 100. this probably won't affect the demo too much but in the full game there's some crazy dice that can roll copies of other ones, and with the right combo, you could get an almost infinite loop. for the good health of the game and your PC, this is now limited lol
also fixed a couple of bugs being the first one the nastiest of them all!
FIXED BUGS:
- dice would sometimes glitch out of the table
- shadows didn't display correctly in deck menu
- default volume was too loud
- intro screen could be quickly clicked on multiple times causing loud audio
