Hey community!
To aid us in our Early Access feedback, we wanted to give you some quick info about sending logs and feedback. In general, the more information, the better! Screenshots, videos, the works.
In-Game Feedback is the best case scenario!
[olist]
[*] When you're in game, stay on the main page and select Settings in the Right-Hand Menu.
[*] Select Feedback
[*] Enter your Email and type in your issue (if you're already logged in, the email will populate automatically)
[*] Select "Send logs"
[/olist]
...and you're done!
If for some reason, you're unable to send feedback in-game, player logs are the next best thing.
[olist]
[*] Open Control Panel -> File Explorer Options.
[*] Click the View tab.
[*] Under "Hidden files and folders" select "Show hidden files, folders, and drives."
[*] Navigate to C:\Users\[Your Computer Username Here]\AppData\LocalLow\Dire Wolf Digital
[*] In the Dune: Imperium folder, there will be a text file named "output_log.txt". This is your log file.
[/olist]
Mac
[olist]
[*] Open the Finder app
[*] Select the "Go" drop down (next to File, Edit, and View at the top)
[*] Select Go to Folder in the drop down
[*] In the text box, type "~/library"
[*] Open the "Logs" folder
[*] Open the "Dire Wolf Digital" folder
[*] Open the folder of the game you need logs for, in it should be the "Player.log" file
[/olist]
Thanks for your continued support and happy playing!
