Just like last time, this is going to be a more technical blog. You shoot, you wait, and… [b]BOOM! It detonates.[/b] Unlike its medieval ancestor, our crossbow, is a highly, modern and much deadlier alternative. But we’re not making it too easy: The challenge lies in the [b]slow reload[/b] speed. [h4]So how would I use it?[/h4] The Crossbow is an interesting early game weapon that can truly help you out in a pinch. It’s great for dealing with larger groups of enemies, very similar to the grenade launcher. Where the grenade launcher will explode immediately, the slight delay on the explosive bolt will allow you to tactically manoeuvre before it detonates. This is also it’s strength. Shoot, reposition while reloading, detonate, shoot again. Before you know it the dismembered demons will be crawling around you, ripe for the picking.
