Hello-hello, I am still alive! I am only back for one day before I go on my HONEYMOON! Since my time was limited, I prioritized what seemed the most important (or what was easy enough to fix). This consisted of mostly bugs, but I also addressed some glaring Balance things. Thanks for sending those bug reports and feedback in-and also for being so patient! Other: - Changed the Programmer/Designer and the Emotional Support's last names in the credits because it was outdated. (WE GOT MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!) - Sorry to those that experienced crashes during my time away - I was really hoping to avoid those, but gamedev is hard! - Added Discord link to Settings - Added a "Delete Run" button that can be accessed by clicking on your Profile on the main menu. This is just a band-aid/emergency fix for if folks encounter something really weird and cannot proceed with their run. Gameplay: - Abandoning a run now cashes out your earned Essence Balance: - Praying now costs 1 NRG (just testing!) - Practiced Perk Nerf - Now gives +2 to starter Actions instead of +3 - Barbs Upgrade Buff - Now rolls 2d4 instead of 2d3 - Smash, Stab, Uppercut, War Cry, Booze Bomb, Vault Rework (AKA 90% of all Actions that Inflict Exposed) - Now favor static amount of Debuffs - Hold the Line Rework - Prepared+ Nerf Enemy Balance: - Croc Buff - Bossilisk & Rat King Buffs, Gelatinous Shape (Frozen Form) Rework - Owlbear & Kobold Buffs - Hobgoblin Buffs - Cholder has more Attacking options - [REDACTED] Heads Buffs Fixes: - Fixed allowing you to both Retry AND Leave with your rewards upon Death, causing a crash - Fixed Oracle Site crash if you have no Oracle-able Actions - Fixed Smith Sites softlock when you have no Smith-able Actions - Fixed upgrading Actions in combat increasing NRG cost if reduced by another effect - [REDACTED] fight now resets to turn 1 - Player Damage must now break through Enemies' Block in order to trigger their Buffer - Enemy Counter no longer ticks down on their turn - Grit now gives correct amount of Counter+Tough - Dig now correctly lets you grab the result of the dice roll instead of only 1 - Heartlet now procs Feeding Spoon (oops) - Phantasmal Block gained per Action no longer scales with Fortitude - Drain now deals 6% max HP damage (my math was soo wrong on this, honestly embarrassing) - Vigor - Monk Perk now gives 2 Strength on combat start - Hoarder - Rogue Perk now gives correct amount of Strength Visual Fixes: - Finishing a fight with a "Pick X Actions to Vanish/Discard/etc." Action should no longer get the "Pick X" text stuck on screen - Killing blows will automatically close Draw/Discard/Vanish UI - Emberleaf "Campfire" typo I'll be back in a week with more!
