Happy Friday!

Jury - Episode 1: Before the Trial

A high quality, erotic, sexy and fun visual novel - and yes, there are animations!

Hi all! It's been a busy week for me (outside of Jury), but I've managed to create patches for both episodes to fix various items that have been raised recently. Obviously with the release of Episode 2, more people are playing through Episode 1, so plenty of bits and pieces are being found there that have been hiding for a very long time. It's a great thing that they are being raised and helps contribute to making the game more enjoyable in general. Please see below for the patch notes this week :) Patch Notes: Episode 1: - Fixed an instance where Heather was being treated as 'Not Met' after you had already met her earlier in the episode. You will no longer be introduced to her twice! - More spelling/grammar fixes (Expect these to keep coming! I have a volunteer at the ready with a far better education than my own to run through the full game and do corrections, I just need to get him set up with git hub!). - Fixed the save game screen where you could move into negative pages (if you used those spaces, you should probably still be able to find those files inside your game directory) - Updated a variable relating to Alice and the buzzing scene/menu choices - Updated variables for Katie outcomes after the bar scene - Updated stats screens for Aimee, Alice, Beth and Heather relating to their RS points. (I'm going through all characters one at a time for this activity, then checking them myself in a playthrough to finally get these right!) Episode 2: - Updated stats screens for Aimee, Alice, Beth and Heather relating to their RS points. (As above) - Fixed some achievement variables (they were triggering sporadically and at least one was impossible to hit due to me coding it incorrectly.) - A bunch of spelling/grammar items Progress on the promised Gallery sets: - Completed 5 sets so far (out of about 25 - As I said earlier, it's been a hectic week outside of Jury. I'll try and speed this up next week). These will all be deployed at once when they are all done. - Scene replayer is coded (but not GUI not finalized, deployed or tested yet. I also have to add the scene items to dictate exactly what should be shown in the scene replayer). Re-investment: With the interest of re-investing in the game, I ordered a new, faster PC yesterday to speed up production and workflow for Episode 3. I believe that's due to arrive on the 11th April, so I'm quite excited about that. My current machine is struggling quite a bit these days. It's got a good GPU, but the processor is outdated and my ram speed sucks by todays standards (Not to mention at time's I've had less than 3GB of storage on my hard drives available, which is outright embarrassing!). Time for a fresh new beast! For those who are interested in technical details/specs: Case: Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo XL Processor: Intel Core i9-14900KS-24-core Motherboard: MSI MEG Z790 ACE GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming Trio X (from my existing machine) Memory: 96GB DDR5/6400mhz Corsair Dominator Titanium CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i Corsair 1600w PSU I did try to order a build with 2 x 4090 cards in it, but have been advised that unless I go with full water-cooling, it's probably not a good idea due to the size of the cards and the requirements for the fans to work properly. To get 2 water cooled 4090 cards in a custom loop starts to get extremely expensive! The company building the system don't sell the MSI Suprim Liquid X (self contained water cooled version) so I might buy get one of those, and try mounting it above the Gaming Trio X and seeing if that works and still allows the air-cooled card to breathe and stay cool (hence going overboard with the PSU. I'll get another 4090 in there somehow!). Perhaps I'll post a picture of my full rig at some stage when it's all set up so you can all see it. I'm still really enjoying looking through the comments and reviews, so thank you to all who are jumping into the discussions and supporting the game. Thanks again for another great week!
