Love & Country

Tensions run high and the boys run UPSETTINGLY HANDSOME in this World War I historical romance-spy thriller visual novel!

Greetings, lovelies! Today we come to you with some unfortunate news: despite our best efforts, we will be delaying the release of ‘Love and Country’ to January 2024. We were so hard at work that our super talented composer Zach actually injured himself! Much of his composition work is performed digitally, which, when combined with the desk job that pays his bills, resulted in too much time spent at a computer. If you’ve ever suffered from a repetitive stress injury, you know it’s no fun. While we are still waiting for Zach’s official diagnosis (it looks like tendonitis or potentially a nerve injury) it’s become abundantly clear that he needs time to rest and recuperate. We are pouring everything into ‘Love & Country’, but we never want this project to come at the cost of anyone’s health. The music is such an important element of the experience we want to deliver. There is a cliché in development that you can have something good, something quick, or something cheap, but you can’t have all three. Looks like that old saw is true. ‘Love & Country’ is a passion project and we are committed to producing the best quality story that we possibly can. With this kind of bummer news, we would like to ask for your continued support and hope that you will bear with us in the meantime! While Zach heals up, Katie and Juliana will continue working. One thing we can say is that we WILL release an updated version of the demo with our new art SOON, so please look out for info on that. We will also continue putting out content on our socials as much as we can!
