Hello everyone,
I occasionally see questions about multiplayer and the workshop. I want to explain here what I’m currently working on and what my plans are. If you don’t know, i’m an 18-year-old indie game developer with a dream of founding a studio and creating awesome games. FOSK is my first game, and i’ve decided to temporarily put it aside to focus on my next project.
First games tend to be a big learning experience, and at some point, instead of improving the game, you end up rewriting old, messy code. As a beginner, the best choice for me would probably be to make small games, try to earn some money, or maybe get a job somewhere... But i’ve decided to dive straight into solo creating a RTS game with procedural generation, hundreds of units, multiplayer, and multiple factions with unique mechanics. Yeah, i have to admit it’s not the smartest plan (idk if I will succeed in making this RTS game).

Anyway, I’m managing. Over the past five months, i’ve worked hard, and many systems are already up and running. I’m also getting closer to alpha testing. Over the last two years of making games, I’ve learned a lot, and i hope to create amazing games in the future.
