Bring out your party hats because it's #FireartFriday! 🎉 In our fourth entry in this series, we have a sit-down with Dan Gartman, an Illustrator and Art Director, working on bringing TOHU's world to life 🎨 [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/35001661/e6b1ff72a6b0cd74e308853a393d25a0f173ec2e.png[/img] [b]What do you do at Fireart Games?[/b] Primarily, I'm an Illustrator and Art Director. But because we are a small team, I also work on simple animations, styleframes, game design, scripting, narrative design, UX/UI design, etc. 😀 Almost everything except coding! I'm the bad guy in our team because I tend to criticize and I'm not satisfied with something if it isn't perfect (especially when it comes down to art and animation). [b]What is your favourite thing about TOHU?[/b] I love every small creature we created with Dima Kazak. I feel like a God of TOHU's world 😆 And I love each animal on the screen. My favourite creature is a glowworm (it has a small lamp, you can see it in the main menu) because this is the first creature I worked on before TOHU was even imagined as a game. It's something important and symbolic for me. [b]What did you do before working on TOHU?[/b] I did the same things that I do now - Illustrations, concepts, my own visual novel game, art pictures, and playing bass guitar. [b]What do you like to get up to when you're not working?[/b] I'm a big pet father (I have a cat, a dog, and a guinea pig)! I also have a small amateur sound studio at home where I produce music (live jamming, playing bass guitar, and synths). I'm a big fan of tabletop games and I'm a Dungeon Master (RPG, D&D).
