We are pleased to announce the release of the second update for FatalZone, which brings new in-game content! It also tweaks the balance a bit and introduces a lot of other changes, including improved optimization.

[*] Added the "Desolate Park" location, available at Gate level 4;
[*] Added the "Clown" boss;
[*] Added the "Market" building:
Here, you can exchange one type of resource for another. The exchange rate will become more favorable as the building levels up.
[*] Added the "Let's Rock" perk for Brawler-class Mercs:
Once every X sec. releases a sound wave that pushes enemies around for X meters and stuns them for X sec.

[*] Added the "Seismic Hammer" weapon:
It deals AoE electric damage, repelling and stunning enemies. Also has the "Cataclysm" evo: once unlocked, the shockwave will spread sideways.

[*] Added new skills:
"Deadly Needle" — shoots a dart at the nearest enemy, dealing toxic damage with an X% chance to instantly eliminate the target;
"Graviton" — launches a flying projectile in a random direction that blows up after a while, drawing enemies to the epicenter of the explosion and dealing physical damage.

[*] Added new enemies:
Ghost Rider — a zombie that moves in a straight line to the opposite edge of the screen, leaving a trail of fire behind and dealing physical damage upon contact;
Electro Zombies — enemies that gather in groups of 12 to form rings that deal electrical damage in an arc and repel the Merc away. They do not move and are immune to knockback.

Added the 4th level to this building.
[*] Tank class:
Reduced normal damage penalty: -50% → -25%.
[*] Biotech class:
Increased regeneration: 1 HP/sec. → 2 HP/sec.
[*] Superior Ammo:
Increased normal damage bonus;
Reduced AoE size bonus for all levels.
[*] Crossbow:
Modified basic weapon stats.
[*] Bat:
Reduced blast damage area for all levels;
Reduced projectile size for all levels;
Completely removed AoE damage bonus, increased normal damage bonus for all levels (when upgraded at the base).
[*] Shotgun:
Reduced AoE size bonus for all levels (when upgraded at the base).
[*] Spear:
Reduced AoE size bonus for all levels (when upgraded at the base).
[*] Toxic Grenade:
Increased toxic damage for all levels;
Reduced AoE for all levels.
[*] Frag Grenade:
Reduced the AoE for all the skill's levels.
[*] Molotov Cocktail:
Reduced the AoE for all the skill's levels.
[*] Grenade Launcher:
Fixed a bug where the skill would sometimes deal no damage.
[*] Gigantism:
Reduced AoE size bonus for all levels;
Reduced projectile size bonus for all levels.
[*] "Generosity” Skill:
Reduced AoE size bonus: 30% → 15%.
[*] "Cell Regen" Defensive Skill:
Increased regeneration values at all levels.
[*] "Fire Storm" Armor:
Reduced AoE size bonus for all levels (when upgraded at the base).[/list]
There are other misc changes, including minor visual and audio bugfixes.
