[list] [*] You can now choose the same golfer as your friends when playing local free play. [*] And we’ve added colour variations to make it clearer who’s who! (Or if you want your fave to have a new style) [/list] 5. New settings to play with! [list] [*] Added three difficulties for CPU players; Amateur, Standard and Pro. [*] Added a setting to always toggle fast forward on during CPU player turns. [*] New custom round settings to remove DNFs, to increase mana at the start of every turn, and to skip character animations (intro, victory and DNF). [/list] 6. Bug Fixes [list] [*] Fixed a bug where the player could not take the second shot on subsequent holes, after quitting or restarting a hole when an exploder was triggered. [*] The colour of the ball will now tint when in contact with oil or slime surface types. [*] Added gamepad navigation to the user feedback menu, along with on screen keyboard when using Big Picture mode. [*] Fixed the turn order being incorrect when using the “Sequential” and “Score” settings. [*] Improved performance when using Sandy Bunker’s Pro Focus ability. [*] Fixed “Score” turn order not keeping the tee off zone's camera direction. [*] Fixed a bug where the hole in Skull Quest, Hole 6 was not aligned with the ground. [*] Fixed an issue where the ball would take a long time to move after using the Skullduggery ability on a slope. [*] Fixed a bunch of issues with Sir Joffrey’s animations. [*] Fixed a bug where the Ratling near the hole on Jade Point, Hole 1 could not be targeted with abilities. [*] Fixed the “most monsters defeated in a single turn” entry on the Player Card displaying the wrong value. [*] Fixed difficulty icons displaying artefacts on Steam Deck. [*] Added VFX during Jimmy Fibula’s celebration animation. [*] Fixed candles in Undead Lair not fading. [*] Sir Joffrey and The Shadow’s intro animations have been modified to reduce clipping with geometry on some holes. [*] Fixed the camera shake effect occasionally not stopping at the end of a turn. [*] Fixed aftertouch input not being recognised if the mouse cursor was placed at the edge of the game window. [*] Fixed an issue where the loading screen didn't appear straight away when retrying a Golf Quest hole. [*] Fixed a bug where exiting a course when the slow motion effect was present would not reset the speed correctly. [*] Fixed a bug where the game menu could not be opened using the Esc key after a shot had been taken. [*] Fixed a bug where the camera could not be rotated after a shot was taken, while the “Lock Mouse Shot Aim” setting was toggled on. [*] Pressing Esc will prioritise cancelling a shot before it opens the pause menu. [*] Fixed a bug where the game menu could not be opened during a monster’s turn. [*] Fixed a bug where objects would not fade when using an ability. [/list] 7. CPU Player Improvements [list] [*] CPU players Sandy Bunker, Jimmy Fibula and The Shadow will no longer use abilities near the hole that take them further away. [*] CPU players are more likely to take a low powered shot when near the hole. [*] CPU players will no longer try to respot the ball when they are close to the hole. [*] CPU players have improved logic to deal with saw blades. [*] Removed a long delay if a CPU player attempted to use an ability but failed. [*] CPU players have improved aiming around spinner obstacles. [*] CPU players are more likely to use portals when it is beneficial. [/list] 8. Online Bug Fixes [list] [*] Online games no longer end whenever any client is disconnected, improving stability. [*] Implemented fixes for some connection issues that would kick all players to the main menu when starting a game. [*] Improved synchronisation across players when pots are broken. [*] Fixed the ball not disappearing into the hole for client players. [*] Fixed the ball placement area not displaying at all in some situations for other players. [*] Fixed mana values not updating for all players when playing online. [/list] 9. Sponsorship Balancing [list] [*] Doubled the range of Mana-gnet sponsorship radius from 1 to 2. [*] Reduced Chest Expander modification from 2 to 1.5. [*] Increased the Professional Tee Mat size from 20% to 50% larger. [*] Reduced Ability Driver range modifier from 50% to 25%. [*] Increased the range of the Explosive Putter from 3 to 5. [*] Spring Along strength increased from 2 to 6, reduced hops to just one hop. [*] Powerhorn Super Shake power increased from 2 to 3. [*] Reduced improved accuracy on Champion Crystals from 6 to 4. [*] Swapped unlocking criteria for Mana Elixir and Peculiar Pendant. [*] Sandy Bunker gained access to the Shoe Studs sponsorship. [*] Sandy Bunker lost access to the Crystal Balls sponsorship. [*] The Shadow and Young Felix gained access to the Powerhorn Super Shake sponsorship. [*] Sandy Bunker, Sir Joffrey, Jimmy Fibula and The Shadow lost access to the Powerhorn Super Shake sponsorship. [*] The Shadow and Young Felix lost access to the Goblin Glue sponsorship. Golf Quest Balancing [list] [*] Adjusted gold trophies to be more achievable and all other trophies adjusted from them. [*] Increased the gap between bronze, silver and gold rush trophies from 15 seconds to 30 seconds. [*] The Cross Bones Memorial, Hole 4: Moved the Golem and portal closer together. [*] The Creepy Classic, Hole 1: Added a Zombie near the starting location. [*] The Creepy Classic, Hole 9: Moved Slimes closer together. [/list] 11. Hole Changes [list] [*] Updated navigation meshes on all holes, increasing options for CPU player shots and improves the calculation of distance for each player to the hole. [*] Added critters to the Volcanic Forge and Ancient Temple courses. [*] Fixed a bug where the player could not see through some walls in Ancient Temple. [*] Fixed various props that were not fading correctly. [*] Mighty Bastion, Hole 2: Moved the spinner obstacle near the tee off location. [*] Mighty Bastion, Hole 3: Overhauled the ramp section of the hole. [*] Mighty Bastion, Hole 6: Removed spinners near the end of the hole and added sand. Fixed portal camera rotation. [*] Glittering Vaults, Hole 2: Moved chest and nearby gold piles to make it easier to reach. [*] Glittering Vaults, Hole 2: Removed red barrel next to the spinner. [*] Fairway Inferno, Hole 1: Fixed some z-fighting issues and increased ball velocity when exiting the portal. [*] Foul Links, Hole 6: Moved first orb set so it is easier to collect. [*] Jade Point, Hole 1: Fixed some z-fighting issues. [*] Windswept Summit, Hole 1: Increased par by 1. [*] Windswept Summit, Hole 2: Increased par by 1. [*] Windswept Summit, Hole 3: Adjusted the hole layout and increased par by 1. [*] Windswept Summit, Hole 5: Offset the timing of wind vents so the player can’t get stuck between them. [*] Jaguar’s Revenge, Hole 1: The ball now goes straight to the hole from the portal exit. [*] Jaguar’s Revenge, Hole 3: Fixed some z-fighting issues and removed unused exterior walls. [*] Improved lighting on Mountain Fortress. [*] Added decorative wall toppers in Ancient Temple. [*] Added additional colliders to Mountain Fortress crates and braziers so balls cannot land inside them. [*] Fixed an issue in Undead Lair levels where the ball could go through a small gap between rails and walls. [/list] 12. Audio Improvements [list] [*] Undead Lair - moss impact sfx. [*] Ancient Temple - waterfall, spinners, stone rollers, collision with trees. [*] Fixed a bug where in-game audio could persist to the main menu. [*] Volcanic Forge - coal and mech pile impact, hydraulic press and swinging hammer improved, fixed pumpkin impact playing incorrect SFX. [*] Mountain Fortress - Shielded Dragon Guards now have idle SFX. [*] Added SFX for critters. [*] Added SFX for the Necromancer’s club during the DNF animation. [*] Various UI SFX added. [*] Various fixes for audio not looping seamlessly. [*] Added SFX when critters are hit. [*] Reduced volume of Ant Workshop splash screen SFX. [/list]
